How billing works
Hourly
A resource’s hourly price is its monthly price ÷ 730 hours, rounded up to the paisa.
Monthly cap
Never more than its monthly price in a calendar month.
From first ready
Charging starts when a resource is first ready; a create that fails is never charged.
Stopped
A stopped app or database isn’t charged for its size; its storage still is.
One GST invoice
For each calendar month (IST), issued on the 1st of the next month.
Paid automatically
Taken from your payment method on the 3rd, after an email at least 24 hours before.

Questions about billing
- Yes, before you create anything paid. Removing your last one later doesn’t stop what is running, but you can’t create anything paid until you add one again.
- An amount on your account, used first on your next invoice before your payment method is charged. It can’t be refunded or transferred.
- Reminder emails first, and everything keeps running. At least 7 days after it is overdue, nothing new can be created; at least 14 days after, apps stop and databases pause, with your data kept. When it is paid, they start again. We never delete your data for an unpaid invoice and charge no late fees.
- No. Prices exclude GST, which is added on the invoice as CGST and SGST, or IGST.
