Monitoring

See what your apps are doing, and hear when they stop

Monitoring is included with every resource. Every app, database, job and volume shows one health status in plain words, with its charts and logs on its own page. When something needs attention, the people you choose get an email.

How an alert works

From a change in health to your inbox

Every app, database, job and volume reports one health status. A rule watches it, and when something needs attention the people you chose get an email.

One health status, in plain words

  • HealthyRunning as it should.
  • DegradedRunning, but not as it should. The reason is shown beside it.
  • DownNot running. It goes to the top of the project’s list.
  • StoppedYou stopped it on purpose, so it never counts as a problem.
  • Working on itBeing created or changed. It settles once the change is done.

Who hears about it

  • Owners and adminsHear about every alert by default.
  • MembersCan be added to a project’s recipients. Each person turns their own alert emails on or off.
  • Extra addressesAn on-call inbox or a teammate without an account, once they confirm the link we email them.
  • A test emailCheck the emails arrive before the first real alert does.
Why monitoring

Know before your customers tell you

Your problem

You hear the site is down from a customer.

On Drasken Cloud

Each app, database, job and volume has one health status. When something needs attention, owners, admins and any address you add get an email.

Your problem

Reading logs means signing in to a server.

On Drasken Cloud

Every instance’s logs are on the app’s page. Search them, filter by level, see the lines around one, and download up to 10,000 lines.

Your problem

Alerts keep firing all night during planned work.

On Drasken Cloud

Mute a rule or a resource for a window, once or every week, and acknowledge an alert so the team knows someone has it.

What's included

Everything you need to see what’s running

One health status

Healthy, Degraded, Down or Stopped, with the reason in plain words.

Email alerts

To owners and admins by default, plus members and extra addresses you add. Each person can turn their own off.

Rules you can adjust

Start from ready-made rules, then change the threshold, how long before it fires, and how severe it is.

Mute and acknowledge

Quiet a rule or a resource for planned work. Acknowledge an alert so nobody chases it twice.

Charts on every resource

Requests, errors and response time for apps; queries and connections for databases; space for volumes.

Logs you can search

Search, filter by level, download. Requests to your app have their own log, with path and status.
