- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell what these cookies record.
1. About this policy
In short
It covers console.draskencloud.com, draskencloud.com and docs.draskencloud.com. It is part of how we explain personal data, alongside our privacy policy.
1.1 Who we are
Drasken Cloud is run by Drasken Labs Private Limited (CIN U62091DL2025PTC453940), registered office 416, Block C (Old No. C-196), Gali No. 7, Om Nagar, Badarpur, South Delhi, Delhi 110044, India. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Drasken Labs Private Limited.
1.2 What it covers
This policy covers three sites:
- the console at
console.draskencloud.com, where you manage your account and resources; - our website at
draskencloud.com; - our documentation at
docs.draskencloud.com.
It does not cover cookies set by the apps you run on Drasken Cloud. Those are yours to explain to your own visitors.
1.3 How it relates to our other policies
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, including what these cookies record. Section 4 of that policy summarises this page. Our terms point here for cookies.
2. Cookies and browser storage
In short
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of data a site keeps in your browser. We sort ours into a few kinds, and only analytics needs your consent.
2.1 What they are
A cookie is a small piece of data a site asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Browser storage (local storage) is similar, but your browser does not send it with each request. Only the site that saved it can read it.
2.2 The kinds we use
| Kind | What it means | Your consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | The site cannot do what you asked without it, such as keeping you signed in | Not needed. You can still block it in your browser, but the site may stop working |
| Preference | Remembers a choice you made, such as your theme or last project | Not needed. It stays in your browser for that site's own use and is never shared with others |
| Sign-up record | In the console only: how you found us, kept in your browser until you sign up and then stored with your account, as our privacy policy says | Not asked. It is never sent anywhere before you sign up |
| Analytics, with consent | Tells us which pages are used, through Google Analytics | Needed. Nothing loads until you select Allow analytics |
We do not use advertising or social media cookies.
2.3 Cookies from the network that carries our sites
Cloudflare carries traffic to our sites. It can set its own security cookies, such as __cf_bm, when its bot protection is on. We do not turn on features that set them today. If we do, we will list the cookie here first.
3. The console
In short
Two cookies keep you signed in. A few settings stay in your browser. Analytics is built but switched off.
3.1 Cookies
The console's sign-in service at api.draskencloud.com sets these cookies when you sign in.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
dcc_at | Drasken Cloud | Proves you are signed in on each request | 15 minutes, renewed while you work | Strictly necessary |
dcc_rt | Drasken Cloud | Renews your sign-in without asking for your password again | 30 days from the last renewal, or until you sign out | Strictly necessary |
Both cookies are HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read them. They are sent only over HTTPS and only with requests from our own sites. They are set for draskencloud.com, so your browser also sends them to our website and documentation. Those sites do not read them. Signing out deletes both.
3.2 Browser storage
The console keeps these items in your browser's local storage. None of them is sent to Google. Most stay until you clear them or the console removes them.
| Name | Purpose | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|
dcc-theme | Your light, dark or system theme | Until you change it | Preference |
dcc.activeOrg, dcc.activeOrgName | The organisation you used last, so the console opens there | Until you switch organisation | Preference |
dcc.activeProject | The project you used last | Until you switch project | Preference |
dcc.nav.panelCollapsed | Whether the side panel is collapsed | Until you change it | Preference |
dcc.supportDraft.<organisation> | A support request you started but have not sent | Until you send or clear it | Preference |
dcc.billing.methodsHelpHidden | That you hid the help on the payment methods page | Until you show it again | Preference |
Started.dismissed.<organisation> | That you closed the getting-started guide | Until you clear your browser | Preference |
NoticeSeen | Which version of the terms' change notice you have seen | Until a new version | Preference |
Invitation | An invitation you opened but have not accepted, so you can return to it | Up to 7 days, or until you accept | Strictly necessary |
dc.attribution | How you found us: campaign labels, the site that sent you and the first page you opened. Sent with your sign-up, then deleted | Up to 30 days, or until you sign up | Sign-up record |
dcc.analytics.consent | Your answer to the analytics question | Until you change it | Strictly necessary |
dcc.analytics.staff | Marks a browser one of our staff has signed in on, so it is never measured | Until cleared | Strictly necessary |
3.3 Analytics in the console
The console can use Google Analytics, but it is switched off today. When we switch it on, the console asks first, as our website does. Nothing goes to Google until you select Allow analytics.
If you allow it, Google Analytics sets the cookies in 4.2. The console sends only the type of page you view and a few named actions, such as signing up. It never sends your apps, databases, names, email address or passwords, or the codes in links we email you. You can change your answer at any time under Profile → Your data → Usage analytics.
4. Our website
In short
One item in your browser remembers your analytics choice. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them.
4.1 Browser storage
| Name | Purpose | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|
drasken:analytics-consent | Your answer to the analytics question | Until you change it or clear your browser | Strictly necessary |
The website sets no cookies of its own.
4.2 Google Analytics, with your consent
If you select Allow analytics, the website loads Google Analytics, which sets these cookies:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one visitor's visits apart, without knowing who they are | Up to 2 years, renewed on each visit | Analytics, with consent | |
_ga_V29RKTXMVG | Keeps the state of your visit to our website | Up to 2 years, renewed on each visit | Analytics, with consent |
Google Analytics tells us which pages are used and where people get stuck. It does not receive your name, your email address or what you write to us. We turn off Google's advertising features. Google keeps this data for 14 months, then deletes it. Google may process it outside India, as our privacy policy explains.
5. Our documentation
In short
Two items in your browser remember your theme and analytics choice. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them.
5.1 Browser storage
| Name | Purpose | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|
dc-analytics-consent | Your answer to the analytics question | Until you change it or clear your browser | Strictly necessary |
theme | Your light, dark or system theme | Until you change it | Preference |
The documentation sets no cookies of its own.
5.2 Google Analytics, with your consent
If you select Allow analytics, the documentation loads Google Analytics, which sets these cookies:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one visitor's visits apart, without knowing who they are | Up to 2 years, renewed on each visit | Analytics, with consent | |
_ga_C40V4LRKVS | Keeps the state of your visit to our documentation | Up to 2 years, renewed on each visit | Analytics, with consent |
It tells us which pages are read and where people get stuck. As on the website, Google's advertising features are off and the data is kept for 14 months.
6. Your choices
In short
Each site asks you once and remembers your answer. You can change it at any time, and turning analytics off deletes Google's cookies at once.
6.1 How we ask
Each site shows a small card when you first visit. It has two buttons that look the same: Allow analytics and Don't allow. Until you choose, nothing from Google loads. Closing the page is not an answer, so the card appears again next time.
Your answer is kept in your browser, by each site separately. So the website and the documentation each ask once, and a new browser or device asks again.
6.2 How to change your choice
| Site | Where |
|---|---|
| Website | Analytics settings at the foot of every page |
| Documentation | Cookie settings at the foot of every page |
| Console | Profile → Your data → Usage analytics, once analytics is switched on there |
When you turn analytics off, the site stops sending at once and deletes the _ga cookies. Turning it off does not undo what Google received before. To have that erased, write to us as 7.2 says.
6.3 Deleting cookies in your browser
You can see and delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings:
- Chrome and Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data, or Site settings.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
- Safari: Settings or Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
Deleting the console's cookies signs you out. Deleting browser storage resets your settings, and each site asks the analytics question again. You can also block cookies for our sites, but the console needs its two cookies to sign you in.
6.4 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our sites do not respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals today. Because nothing from Google loads unless you allow it, the effect is the same as long as you do not select Allow analytics.
7. Changes and contact
In short
We update this page before we add a cookie. Questions go to our privacy mailbox.
7.1 Changes to this policy
We update this page before we add or change a cookie or storage item, and record the change under What changed. Before we use cookies for a new analytics or advertising purpose, we ask for your consent again.
7.2 Contact
Write to privacy@draskencloud.com with any question about cookies, or to ask us to erase analytics data linked to your browser. Our privacy policy explains your rights and how to complain to our Grievance Officer.
